Adorable and on my New Children’s Picture Book Shelf

This one is lovely. It’s a new publication and has just come out in February this year.

It’s for ages 4-8 years (or younger…or older) and looks like this:

Written by  Amy June Bates (Author, Illustrator), Juniper Bates (co-author), you can get a copy here.

There are just some books that are simply wonderful, and this is one of them. The idea is simple; there’s an umbrella by the door that has large, wide arms. It will cover everyone while the rain pours. it is kind and it is useful and no matter who you are, tall or short, big or small, the umbrella will cover you too.

This is a wonderful book for children and the story is such a fabulous metaphor for love and kindness. A great read and very clever!
